Check out current and previous years plot data below. Growing environment descriptions will be provided when available. For location based results check out the link to Pioneer or access via your Granular account.

2025

A year with wide variations of rainfall paired with high mid summer heat and low leaf disease. Grain fill on both corn and soy was cut short with little rain in August. Rain events were more plentiful closer to US12 and tapered off when moving north and south.

BAS Corn Plot

The highest yielding plot to date for BAS featured 96-114 day varieties with a sub plot of Nexta C3. Additional management was a single pass of fungicide, Y-drop nitrogen, fertigation, Nexta in season PGR's  and moderate irrigation.

BAS Soy Plot

High yielding soy plot with lower than average disease. Moderate rain and irrigation paired with a single chemigated fungicide pass and Agrigro foliar application at R2.

Landis Lands Corn

100-109 day no-till plot with adequate early rains that faded late season. Strong performance from Pioneer's new 109 Vorceed variety.

Landis Corn

Dryland corn plot wit 98-110 day varieties. Adequate rainfall that faded late season. Good, stable mid maturity performance.

2024

2024 was a year defined by above average rainfall in most areas, with some areas of the county receiving over 25 inches. The season ended with dry August weather that affected late season pod fill, an influx of tar spot and root disease.

BAS Corn Plot

The Bracy Ag corn plot was planted planted in ideal conditions but followed by heavy rain events. Tar spot was identified in early July but progressed slowly. The disease paired with wet feet on roots separated strong agronomic varieties from the rest by the end of the season.

BAS Soy Plot

Planted May 2nd with heavy rains to follow, the new Z series soybeans shined. An application of Aproach fungicide at R3 followed by 30 lbs of nitrogen blended with manganese and Agrigro's Ultra pushed this plot to high yield.

BM Corn Population Trial

This plot always sparks interest. Showing corn varieties planted at 32, 24 and 38K populations and where they fall on a flex/fixed spectrum. This plot is dryland, high management with fungicide.

Competitive Soy Plot

A high management soy plot with Golden Harvest varieties. This plot showcases Pioneer stability and yield potential.

Landis Corn

Irrigated corn plot with high amounts of rainfall. Planted on variable light soils.

2023

The spring of 2023 made for extremely tough planting conditions due to hard dry soils. Late emergence and diminished stands were a result. Above average rainfall occurred mid season bring seasonal rain back o average. The year ended with good corn but below average soybean yields.

BAS Corn Plot

Irrigated corn plot with some late season tar spot pressure. Fungicide application with fertigated nitrogen.

BAS Soy Plot

Irrigated soybeans with fungicide application

PKP Plot 1

Non-irrigated corn plot on sandy loam.

PKP Plot 2

Non-irrigated corn plot on sandy loam.
